The mandala is probably the most frequent used piece of art you can add to your tattoo collection only because it has so many variances . You can add this to any rounding or moving part of your body as it takes form perfectly.


Mandala tattoos are sacred designs that are mainly used for religious purposes and first gained their popularity amongst the Hindus religion. They normally take the shape of a circle which is created from the centre towards the edges.

The literal meaning of mandala, which is a Sanskrit word, is circle and like a circle, the mandala represents wholeness. A circle also denotes balance, perfection and eternity as the distance from its centre to all points on it remains the same, from wherever it is measured.
